Relationship

I know that these days you don't see people sticking together. At least for long periods of time. My husband and I have beat the odds and plan on staying together till we are dead and gone. To start from the beginning.
We met in November of 2001 and the way we met was so funny. I was talking with a friend waiting for the bus to head home from school. We decided to play a game of truth or dare and of course I chose dare. She looked around saw Dear Husband he was super cute just hanging out listening to his music. She looked at me and said "I dare you to pour your bottle of water on his head." So I walked up to him thinking to myself  "Self Dang he is cute, hope he doesn't mind" LOL I stood there and poured the water over his head. He had a hoodie on and the water just kind of beaded off and he turned and looked at me and was like. "Oh Hey" Just his reaction made me fall for him right then and there. We started talking and come to find out Dear husband and friend knew each other. They had met over the summer at the Sisters Rodeo. From that day on we hung out every day at lunch. Talked on the phone every night when we got home and just got together every time we had a chance. By June of 02 we started dating after the SAME Friend pretty much made him ask me out. There was a couple months a year later after I moved away and started at a different High School we decided to break up. Well obviously we couldn't live with out each other. Although we would fight ever time we talked or saw each other we still made it a point to see each other. We finally started to get along and decided to give it another shot. Well he graduated in 04 and a year later I graduated. I moved with in a month out of state but just over the bridge to go to Culinary School. We made it a point to see each other and talk every day. On December 21st 2006 after a last min Christmas shopping trip we went to my apartment and were hanging out. He was acting funny kind of walking back and forth in the kitchen and just made me think something was up. I told him to come sit down and watch the movie with me. A min later he walks up falls to his knees and pull out a ring. "Kelly will you MARRY ME"!!!!!! I looked at him and said "ARE YOU SURE, YES!!" I was so happy and so excited. We waited a year to actually announce our engagement but I was okay with that. In February of 2007 we announced to our families that we were getting married that November. It took a lot of planning, penny pinching and sacrificing but we did it.  On November 3rd 2007 we were married. For our Honey moon we went to Depot Bay and stayed at a family friends Cabin. It was nice 4 days just us on the beach. We had so much fun. When we found out we were pregnant was so funny. Hubby and I were on the phone talking and I was in a horrid mood. I was exhausted from working 12 hour days and my feet hurt and I would just curse like a pirate. He calmly says "Are you Pregnant?" My reply "NO ARE YOU?" then I sat there for a min thought to myself and then asked him to pick up a test on his way home. He asked if I would be able to wait till payday which was a whole 5 days away. The next morning I got up and went to the birth center in town and had a test done. The lady comes in and says "Congratulations Your PREGNANT!!" I was like are you sure and she looks at me. Your the only one here in the office who took a test and I know I'm not. I started to cry so hard she was scared. She asked if I needed any information and I just simply said "NOPE these are happy tears" She let me take a picture of the test and I sent it two my friend. She called me a few min later crying "WERE HAVING A BABY" I went out to lunch with a friend who I already had plans with. I went home to wake up Hubby who was working grave yard at that time. I got there climbed into bed with him and woke him up. Showed him the picture and said your going to be a daddy.  He looked at me with his sleepy eyes and said "Your not pregnant now go to sleep" I started to cry so hard because he didn't believe me a few min later he woke up looked at me. Said " Did you just say you were pregnant?" Yep were having a baby. On November 3rd 2009 we found out that we were having a baby GIRL!! On March 17th 2010 Our Little Princess was born with a full head of Curly hair. We decided we wanted to try for a boy after she turned a year old and before we knew it we were pregnant with #2. On September 21st 2011 we found out that we were having a Baby BOY! On January 24th 2012 Our Little Man was born. We are as happy as can be and very much still in love. I would not want to change our life. We have been blessed with a love not many ever have the chance to feel and two beautiful babies. This is our story. Please feel free to share yours.
